Trailblazer tours offer the Fraser Island
experience of a life time with a three day tour departing directly from
the Sunshine Coast.
Your Safari begins by traveling across the
Noosa river and up the coast before approaching Rainbow Beach where the
famous coloured sands and the Cherry Venture Shipwreck are located.
The quick stop in the township of Rainbow
Beach allows for the supplies to be acquired and the opportunity
to buy a drink and snacks.
From Rainbow Beach the tour continues
on to board the barge and cross over to the World Heritage Fraser
Island.

Over the next three days
your itinerary will include visits to various fresh water lakes such as
Lake Wabby, known as the green lake, Lake Birrabeeen, known as the blue
lake, and Lake Boomanjin, known as the red lake.
Each of the lakes are
uniquely coloured with different oxides from the surrounding plant life,
which in turn led to them being referred to by the colour of their
water.
The tour allows you
ample time to explore as well as relax, on low tide you will visit the
stunning Indian Head where you can spot the local sea life, including
sharks, feeding in the deep waters below. On the third day
the safari can expect to arrive back in Noosa at approximately 4.30pm
and will return you to your place of pick up from the beginning of the
tour.
