The tour commences with a courtesy pick-up from your Hervey Bay accommodation, from there you board the barge "The Fraser Dawn" and cruise across from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island, just a 45 minute trip across the Great Sandy Straits.

Take the opportunity to spot the marine life in the Bay while journeying across to Moon Point.  Hervey Bay is known for dolphins and dugongs, and if you visit during whale season you may even spot a humpback whale in the distance.

Fraser Island is well known for it's pristine, fresh water lakes and creeks.  Through out the day you will have the opportunity to swim in the beautiful Lake Allom, visit the Maheno Shipwreck, wonder at the ancient trees in Yidney Rainforest and visit the rainbow coloured sands of the Pinnacles.

Included in your Fraser Island Tour is a delicious morning tea at the Fraser Island Wilderness Retreat which is nestled in the hills of Happy Valley.  After more touring, relax at Cathedral Beach and indulge in a sumptuous BBQ lunch of fresh fish or prime cut steaks both served with fresh salads and a selection of drinks.
