Fraser Venture 2 Day Safari

Your Fraser Venture 2 Day Adventure Safari begins with a courtesy pick up from your Hervey Bay accommodation before departing the main land via vehicle ferry. 

After a thirty minute cruise across the Great Sandy Straits you arrive at the beautiful Fraser Island.  Your friendly tour guide will take you on a journey to the heart of the island, in to the ancient rainforest that is rich with life.

Here you will stop to explore the historical Central Station where you have the opportunity to walk under the palm fringed rainforest canopy, along the board walk beside the fresh water Wanggoolba Creek.

A short distance away is Pile Valley where the island's largest and most stunning trees grow, lucky to have survived Fraser Island's extinct logging industry, then continue on to the popular beach side resort, Eurong Beach Resort for an exceptional buffet style lunch, after which you are shown your accommodation for the night.

Following your delicious lunch the tour heads inland to the stunning Lake Wabby and the massive, constantly moving sand blow that is slowing consuming it.  Take the afternoon to explore the local area or dive in and have a refreshing swim before returning the resort that evening for a sumptuous three course dinner served in the resort restaurant. 

The resort offers a night full of activities such as swimming, karaoke, chilling out watching the television or socialising at the bar with new friends.

The next morning wake up to an appetizing buffet breakfast before your expert guide drives you along the island highway, Seventy Five Mile Beach, to the rusting Maheno Shipwreck that is slowly being consumed by the ebbing tides and moving sands, then photograph the magical coloured sands at the Cathedrals before swimming in the crystal clear Eli Creek.

That afternoon after another great lunch, head down to the stunning Lake McKenzie, one of the most popular spots on the Island with it's pure white silica sand and clean, clear fresh water before returning to Hervey Bay and being dropped back at your accommodation.

Those who are returning to Noosa and the Sunshine Coast will head south to Inskip Point before crossing to the mainland at Rainbow Beach which offers you the opportunity to see the coloured sands and the Cherry Venture Shipwreck before returning down the coast to your departure location.  Pick up and drop off at Noosa must be pre-booked.
